Hunter Takes Down York in Men’s Tennis

JAMAICA, NY – The Hunter College Hawks proved to be too much for the Cardinals tennis team Wednesday afternoon, defeating York by a 9-0 score in a CUNY Athletic Conference match.
The closest match of the day came at fifth singles, where Kenan Kajetzovic fell to Hunter's Mark Goldfinger 6-3, 2-3, 10-6. In doubles play, Iheany Agbor and Kajetzovic lost a hard-fought match at third doubles, losing 8-5.
With the loss, York drops to 5-8, 3-5 in the CUNYAC. Hunter improves to 11-3, 7-1 in the CUNYAC. York will close out the regular season on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
