JAMAICA, NY – The York College men's tennis team picked up an easy victory Wednesday defeating conference-rival Lehman College 8-1.  With the win, the Cardinals even up their record at 5-5, 3-3 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. 

York had little trouble disposing of the Lightning.  The closest match of the day came at third doubles, where Erick Giron and Akins Simon edged out Marcos Coto-Batres and Alex Linde by a 9-7 score.

At first singles, Ayman Busat earned an easy 6-0, 6-2 victory over Shiva Devarinti and later teamed up with Charlton Distin to win 8-3 at first singles.

York will host CCNY on Friday at 3:30 pm.
