CCNY Drops York in Three Sets

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's volleyball team fell in three sets to the City College of New York, losing by a score of 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-9).
It was all CCNY from the very beginning. The Beavers jumped out to a 14-1 lead in the first set and never looked back. Melissa Blass finished with 13 kills and Dalliana Toussaint added ten kills, while Alexis Kinsman recorded 30 assists.
York's Pamela Yap recorded a match-high 11 digs, while Miryam Candela added seven digs.
CCNY improves to 17-14, 6-2 in the CUNYAC, while York drops to 5-15, 1-7 in the CUNYAC. The Lady Cardinals will visit Pratt Institute on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
