JAMAICA, NY—The York College women's tennis fell to 3-2 on the season with an 8-1 loss to Brooklyn College Wednesday.  

The Lady Cardinals earned their lone victory of the match at first singles, when Brooklyn's Ruth Perez was forced to retire at 0-6, 3-3 in the match.  Valerie Roland picked up the win for York. The Bridges cruised in the rest of singles play, not allowing York to win more than two games in any set.     

York will look to get back on track Wednesday when they visit Sarah Lawrence College at 5:30 p.m.
