JAMAICA, NY— The York College tennis team earned its first win of the season Wednesday, defeating St. Joseph's (BK) College by a score of 7-2.
York dominated the majority of the matches. The closest contest of the day came at first singles where Hugo D'Oliveira narrowly won a third-set tiebreaker to take the match.
With the win, York improves to 1-6 on the season. York will host Hunter on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
