Women’s Tennis Eliminated by Baruch in CUNYAC Quarterfinals

FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY—The York College women's tennis team saw its inaugural season come to an end Tuesday with a 6-1 loss to Baruch College in the quarterfinals of City University of New York Athletic Conference playoffs.  The Lady Cardinals finish their first season with a record of 4-7.

 

York got its only point at first doubles where Valerie Roland and Allana Wilson defeated Baruch's Monika Maiellano and Alexandra Vamanu by a score of 8-4.

 

With the win, Baruch moves on to the semifinals and will take on Brooklyn College on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
