NEW YORK, NY— The York College women's volleyball team fell to John Jay 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-22) and CCNY (25-8, 25-11, 25-10) in a CUNYAC multi-match held on Monday morning.

The Lady Cardinals held an advantage in hitting percentage, digs and blocks but difference in the match was the service game. The Bloodhounds recorded 17 service aces to York's seven.
Irma Ruilova led York with five kills and seven digs, while Shanine Bogan picked up four kills and a season-high seven blocks.
CCNY Recap
CCNY—who came into the match with a perfect 6-0 record in CUNYAC play—proved to be too much for the Lady Cardinals squad. The Beavers cruised to a 3-0 sweep. York managed just six kills in the contest and fell to 5-15, 2-5 in the CUNYAC. CCNY improved to 16-7, 7-0 in the CUNYAC.
York will travel to Sarah Lawrence on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
