David Santos enters his first season as assistant women’s soccer coach at York College.
Arriving on campus with a growing network throughout New York City, Santos served as assistant coach from 2023-24 for the Central Park Rangers women’s team, who competed in the A Division of the New York Metropolitan Women's Soccer League (NYWMSL). During that same timeline, Santos led the DKay Henry Soccer Training for the U18 and U20 women’s teams as head coach in the NYWMSL B Division.
From 2022-24, Santos developed the Soccer Fun for Kids programs as head coach for the U14 girls and U12 boys programs. Santos got his start in coaching with Street Soccer USA, leading practices for ages 15-18 in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn from 2017-21.
Santos, who is certified by U.S. Soccer (formerly United States Soccer Federation) in 7v7 grassroots, 9v9 grassroots and11v11 grassroots, is currently pursuing a U.S. Soccer D coaching license.
Residing in Brooklyn, Santos is a graduate of New Dawn Charter High School.
