Tracey Marshall enters her 16th season as head softball coach at York College in 2020.
Marshall served as York's head coach for 13 years since the team's inception in 2003. After two years away from the program, Marshall returned for the 2018 season on an interim basis. During the 2018-19 academic year, Marshall had the interim tag removed to regain the status of head coach.
Marshall has been a staple at York over the last two decades, serving as assistant women's volleyball coach from 1998- 2013 and assistant men's volleyball coach since 1999.
Prior to her departure in 2015, Marshall recruited Nicole Ovelheira who turned into one of two Cardinals to receive multiple CUNYAC All-Star distinctions. York's top softball players in school history. Ovelheira holds five school records and was York's Female Career Award winner in 2018-19 and a Female Athlete of the Year honoree in 2017-18.
