Kevin Spies enters his first season as an assistant here at York. Prior to joining the Cardinals, Spies was the head coach at John Dewey HS where he coached the first Varsity team in school history. In their first season, the team went 0-14. By their third year, Coach Spies had them primed to the tune of a 21-3 record and a division championship.
Coach Spies built a top notch program at John Dewey but is most proud that all of his players went on to higher education. Coach Adams says, “Kevin is an absolute asset to us here at York. He is a young energetic hustler and a very knowledgeable coach. His enthusiasm and work ethic are going to help drive this program where we need it to go. We are lucky to have Coach Spies at York.”
