Elijah Trotman

Elijah Trotman enters his second season as York College assistant men’s basketball coach. A former player for Queensborough Community College from 2014-16, Trotman reunites with head coach Clarence Emengo in their quest to bring the Cardinals glory.

Trotman showed out in the 2015-16 season, where he played a career-best 25 games and averaged 12.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. Transferring to Hunter College, Trotman helped the Hawks reach the CUNYAC Championship quarterfinal in 2017.  Trotman then graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. 

Outside of basketball, Trotman works as a social security contact representative at the Queens Card Center in Jamaica since 2021.  From 2018-20, Trotman contributed to Macy’s as a service associate.
