JAMAICA, NY --- (

Both Cardinal doubles combinations showed plenty of fight to claim York's first games in doubles play this season.
Franeidy Mauricio and
Tyla Hooks teamed up to secure a game on the No. 1 court, while the duo of
Andrea Cedeno and
Usha Sinclair snagged a game of their own on the second circuit.
In singles play, Mauricio garnered her first game of the season on the No. 1 court. Keeping up her momentum, Hooks secured a game on the No. 2 court for the second consecutive match, while Sinclair rounded out the Cardinal scoring by collecting a hard-earned game at the No. 4 level.
