www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis commenced its CUNYAC campaign Tuesday afternoon with a road contest against the Brooklyn College Bulldogs (3-3, 1-0 CUNYAC) falling in a competitive 4-3 scoreline from Roosevelt Tennis Courts.
Julia Wyman continued her strong performance on the No. 3 singles court, triumphing over Sasha Shablii 6-3, 6-3. That is two consecutive victories to start the season for Wyman.
Gabriela Pirondi claimed four points at the No. 1 singles level.
Jahaira Cumbicus and
Jada Powell made their debuts on the No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles courts, respectively.
