Altenor Molien went into a tiebreaker on the No. 4 court, ultimately falling 8-7 (7-1) against Davyen Garrett.
Abubakar Khamis made his season debut in No. 2 singles, claiming one game over Nathan Park.
Dylan Juela also took one game in his No. 3 singles contest.
