NEW YORK --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College's Madison Plaza has been announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) as a member of the 2025 Women's Volleyball Sportsmanship Team. With this laurel, the women's volleyball program has produced a Sportsmanship Team selection in seven consecutive seasons. 

Appearing in 21 matches and 69 sets, Plaza was a key cog in York's season, setting career-highs in points (77), kills (55), total attacks (248), aces (21), and digs (35). She recorded nine or more points on three occasions, including a career-high 17-point (nine kills and eight aces) performance in a four-set victory against Medgar Evers College (Sept. 23). The Brooklyn native adds this Sportsmanship Team laurel to her haul, as she has landed on the Women's Basketball Sportsmanship Teams in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns.
