www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College's Keanna Clouden was named a 2024 CUNYAC Women's Cross Country Preseason Runner to Watch Tuesday as league officials released the seven-member group.
Although Clouden has not been a part of the cross country program at York College, she ran in 13 meets across the indoor and outdoor track & field campaigns last year, helping the Cardinals medal in the 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays at the Outdoor Championships (May 4). Clouden won the York College Indoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Year Award and the York College Outdoor Track & Field Coaches Award for her improvement and dedication, signaling she is ready to take the cross-country circuit by storm.
League coaches voted York to finish eighth in this season's CUNYAC standings.

Hunter College tallied 47 points and five first-place votes, while John Jay College did not lag far behind with 44 points and three first-place nods. The Cardinals accumulated seven 16 total points. York's six-meet slate begins with the Ron Stonitsch Invitational on September 14 hosted by Vassar College.
The 2024 CUNYAC Championships will take place on October 27 at Van Cortlandt Park, as the Cardinals look to kick start their program under first-year coaches Aisha Bruce and Kiechen Smith.
