FLUSHING, NY--- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College senior Jasmine Vega was honored by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) as a member of the 2024 Women's Volleyball Sportsmanship Team.

The second-year libero claimed a spot on the seven-member CUNYAC Sportsmanship Team.

Residing in Queens, Vega took the court in 17 of York's 18 matches in 2024 while seeing action in 53 sets. Vega ranked second on the team with a career-high 90 digs at a rate of 1.70 per set.  She also finished the year with personal bests in matches played, sets played, points (12), points per set (0.23), kills (8), service aces (2), service aces per set (0.04),  assists (6), assists per set (0.11), blocks (2) and blocks per set (0.04).
