www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's soccer traveled Saturday to face the John Jay College Bloodhounds (6-5-1, 3-0-0 CUNYAC), falling by the final count of 9-0 in a CUNYAC matchup at Randall's Island (Field 74).
First-Half Breakdown
Ludmilla Figee tapped one home from a corner kick 1:25 into the match to give CCNY a 1-0 edge. Husna Khan doubled the Beavers' advantage in the seventh minute. Searching for more, goals by Valentina Diaz and MacKenzie Moreno made the scoreline 4-0 just over 11 minutes in. Moreno tacked on two extra goals to push CCNY's advantage to 6-0 at the 18:51 mark. Gissell Gonzalez dispatched a quick brace to end the first-half scoreline at 8-0 by the 29th minute. York got on the board in the shot column with 22 seconds until intermission as
Emelin Cajamarca came close on a longshot.
Second-Half Breakdown
Figee added a ninth Beaver strike just over seven minutes after intermission. Samantha Pinto capped off the 10-0 result at the 56:24 point with a right-footed blast.
