Nayelly Rojas was labeled a 2023 CUNYAC Women's Cross Country Preseason Runner to Watch Thursday as league officials released the seven-member group.
Competing in the CUNYAC Championships, Rojas placed 39th with a season-best result of 42:33.8, good for 4th on the team.
League coaches voted York to finish sixth in this season's CUNYAC standings.

Hunter College totaled 46 points and four first-place votes, while the Cardinals accumulated 16 total points. York's seven-meet schedule starts with the Purchase College Invitational on September 9.
The 2023 CUNYAC Championships will take place on October 29 at Van Cortlandt Park as the Cardinals look to improve upon their fifth-place showing under first-year head coach James Wilkerson.
