NEW YORK --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball junior guard Terrell Fullerton was recognized Monday by the Met Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) as a 2023 All-Met Division III Second-Team honoree. Fullerton, who was one of five CUNYAC student-athletes to land on an All-Met team, will be recognized on April 27 at the 90th annual MBWA All-Met Haggerty Awards Dinner at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center in Tarrytown, New York. He is York's second-consecutive All-Met second-team selection after Quran Dublin became the program's first honoree since 2013-14.

Fullerton's second-team honor is a bow to his outstanding debut season with the Cardinals. The 2023 All-Met second-team member was a CUNYAC first-team member, won two CUNYAC Player of the Week honors, was a four-time MBWA Divisions II-III Honorable Mention selection, and claimed an MBWA Divisions II-III Player of the Week in January. 

Over 25 contests, the Brooklyn native averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 steals, and 1.6 steals, while shooting 43.8 percent (165-of-377) from the field, 29.9 percent (32-of-107) from downtown and 74.2 percent (92-of-124) from the charity stripe. 

Among CUNYAC leaders, Fullerton placed highly in points per game (2nd), assists per game (3rd), field goal percentage (4th), free-throw percentage (5th), minutes per game (5th, 33.6), and steals per game (8th). 

Per the final NCAA Division III Statistical Rankings Summary, Fullerton ranked among the leaders in assists per game (48th), total assists (T-59th, 117), and points per game (T-93rd).
