BRONX, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College hit hard Friday on the courts, claiming victory in third doubles and sixth singles before falling by the count 7-2 to the Lehman College Lightning (1-2, 1-0 CUNYAC) in a CUNYAC road tilt from APEX Tennis Courts.  The pair of wins for York was the most since taking two from Lehman on April 13, 2019.

Abubakar Khamis picked up a strong win at No. 6 singles for the Cardinals, defeating Jaden Youngs by the tune of 6-3 and 6-2 in straight sets.

Carding a victory in doubles play for York was Shavar Rowe and Abimael Deliska, who combined to take down Youngs and Chris Mata with an 8-3 decision in racked up their second-straight win.
