NEW HAVEN, CT --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis matched up against the Kean University Cougars (3-0), falling 9-0 in a non-conference contest from York College Courts. 

Prior to the start of the match, seniors Emperatriz Cesar and Jamelia Jordan were recognized for their dedication to York College Athletics with the annual Senior Day Ceremony.  

Partnering for the second time, Bisola Babanumi and Dawa Bhote claimed three games in their No. 2 doubles matchup. In singles, Cesar won a season-best three games on the No. 1 court against Maria Torres. Babanumi grabbed a career-high four games on the No. 2 singles court. Zainab Kargbo debuted on the No. 6 court.
