www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis faced off Thursday afternoon against the Baruch College Bearcats (8-0, 3-0 CUNYAC), falling 9-0 in a CUNYAC contest from York College Courts.
Facing Ellie Eidelzon on No. 5 singles,
Dawa Bhote claimed a career-best 11 games in the tightly contested battle. After winning the first set in a 12-10 tiebreaker, Bhote fell 6-4 in a back-and-forth second set before losing in a 10-point super tiebreaker.
Julia Wyman took two games on the No. 6 singles court in her first singles match since September 14 against Brooklyn College.
