NEW YORK --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball junior guard Terrell Fullerton was announced Tuesday as a Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Divisions II-III Weekly Honorable Mention for games played January 23-29.  The MBWA Divisions II-III Player of the Week for Jan. 16-22 was previously named Honorable Mention for January 2-8.  

Fullerton averaged 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists while shooting 48.3 percent (14-of-29) from the floor, 33.3 percent (3-of-9) from 3-point range and 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from the free-throw line in a 1-1 week for the Cardinals. 

In a 93-69 CUNYAC home win (Jan. 24) against John Jay College, Fullerton went for 19 points (7-of-12 FG, 3-of-5 3FG), five assists and four rebounds in 27 minutes.  Fullerton then logged 34 minutes to tally 17 points (7-of-17 FG), six rebounds, five assists (one turnover) and one steal in a 91-85 CUNYAC road loss against Lehman College (Jan. 27).

Across 19 games, the Brooklyn native is averaging 18.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals in 33.9 minutes per contest while shooting 44.5 percent (130-of-292) from the field, 31.8 percent (28-of-88) from 3-point territory and 76.2 percent (64-of-84) from the free throw line

In the latest NCAA Division III Statistical Rankings Summary, Fullerton is 40th in assists per game and tied for 91st in points per game. Additionally, Fullerton ranks highly among the CUNYAC leaders in scoring (3rd), assists (3rd), minutes per game (3rd) and free-throw percentage (4th). The electric guard is also 12th in steals per game and 17th in rebounds per game.

Fullerton and the Cardinals (6-14, 5-4 CUNYAC) remain on the road Tuesday (Jan. 31) to take on the Baruch College Bearcats (14-5, 6-2 CUNYAC) at 7:30 p.m. in a CUNYAC showdown inside ARC Arena.
