FLUSHING, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball guard Terrell Fullerton was recognized Monday by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) as the Player of the Week, released by league officials for games played January 16-22.

Fullerton excelled in a 2-0 week for the Cardinals, averaging 24.5 points, 9.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds, while shooting 60.6 percent (20-of-33) from the floor and 87.5 percent (7-of-8) from the free-throw line. In a road CUNYAC 121-115 win against Hunter College (Jan. 18), he recorded his third double-double of the campaign, totaling 28 points (11-of-14 FG, 5-of-5 FT), 14 assists (one turnover), and four rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes of action. The junior guard notched season-highs in points and assists with this effort. Defeating CUNYAC members Brooklyn College 88-70 at home (Jan. 20), Fullerton finished with 21 points (9-of-19 FG), seven rebounds, and five assists. This performance was his sixth consecutive effort scoring over 20 points. 

Across 17 games, the Brooklyn native is averaging 18.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest, while shooting 44.1 percent (116-of-263) from the field, 31.6 percent (25-of-79) from 3-point range, and 79.5 percent (58-of-73) from the charity stripe. He is also logging 33.5 minutes a game.

In the CUNYAC hierarchy, Fullerton ranks highly in scoring (3rd), assists (3rd), steals (8th), minutes per game (2nd), and free-throw percentage (4th). The guard also places 16th in rebounding. In the latest NCAA Division III Statistical Rankings Summary, Fullerton is tied for 45th in assists per game and 92nd in points per game.

The Cardinals (5-13, 4-3 CUNYAC) host the John College Bloodhounds (4-14, 3-4 CUNYAC) Tuesday (Jan. 24) at 7 p.m in a CUNYAC showdown inside York College Gymnasium.
