JAMAICA, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis opened their campaign Thursday with a 9-0 loss in a CUNYAC home matchup against the Hunter College Hawks (7-0, 3-0 CUNYAC) from York College Courts. 

Nayelly Rojas, who is one of two returners from a season ago, stood out for the Cardinals. Her crisp returns and controlled serves allowed her to capture a game in her No. 1 singles and doubles matches. Taylor Bellmon partnered Rojas during the doubles encounter.
