www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis returned to the courts Saturday for the first time since the conclusion of the 2019 season, opening the 2021 campaign at USTA National Tennis Center for a CUNYAC matchup against the Hunter College Hawks (6-2, 4-1 CUNYAC).
While the Cardinals fell 9-0,
Nayelly Rojas led the charge by winning two games during a 6-2, 6-0 decision in the No. 2 singles slot.
Geraldine Guese and
Monique James won one game in a No. 2 doubles 8-1 setback.
Madonna Adieb and
Kacey Clarke also debuted by competing in singles and doubles play.
