Geraldine Guese (2018-21),
Monique James (2018-21) and
Alyssa King (2019-21) were recognized with the annual senior day ceremony for their dedication to York Athletics.
Guese sparked the Cardinals with a win at No. 1 singles, producing a 6-2, 6-4 win. John Jay pulled out the 6-3 win over York despite the Cardinals pushing hard throughout the match. York also captured default wins at the No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

The Cardinals (0-4, 0-4 CUNYAC) take the court on Sunday (Oct. 24) at the National Tennis Center at 2 p.m. as the No. 6 seed John Jay in a first-round matchup of the 2021 CUNYAC Tennis Championship. York and John Jay previously met at the 2019 CUNYAC Championship after the Cardinals made their first return to postseason play since 2014.
