JAMAICA,N.Y.—The York College men's tennis team was back in action on Wednesday afternoon. York lost to Brooklyn College, 9-0, in the Cardinals second conference match of the season.
Tanvir Hossain, had a close match for the Cardinals as he put in a hard fought battle in #3 singles against Samuel Meyerovich. Each set was competitive, but Hossain would eventually fall, 6-2,6-3.
After today's loss, the Cardinals continue to look for their first win of the season and fall to 0-4, on the season, while the Bulldogs improve to 1-4, on the season. The Cardinals will play at the USTA to take on John Jay College on Saturday with a start time of 12pm.
