QUINCY, Mass.—The York College men's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in a tri-match. York lost 3-0 (5-25, 13-25, 13-25) to Emmanuel College (MA) and 3-0 (18-25, 13-25, 22-25) to Eastern Nazarene College (MA) on Saturday afternoon at the Lahue Physical Education Center at Eastern Nazarene College.

The Cardinals scored 5 points in the first frame with the Saints taking the opening set 25-5. The Saints would win the second and third frame with matching 25-13 victories.
In the loss, York got 7 digs apiece from

York lost in straights to Eastern Nazarene in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. The Lions took an early lead to win the first frame 25-18.
The Lions extended their advantage to 2-0 with a 25-13 victory in the second game. In the 3rd set Eastern Nazarene edged York 25-22 to close out the match.
In the loss, York was led by Mambe Kourissi, who had 5 kills, 6 blocks and 1 service ace.

Gustavo Villanueva with 2 kills, 10 digs and 2 service aces
With the loss, York is now 1-4. They will play at Hunter College on Monday, February 18 at 10 a.m.
