Morristown, N.J.--The York College Men's Volleyball team took an away loss to the College of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday night 1-3 (17-25, 25-19, 15-25,16-25).
York finished the game with 7 blocks, 4 aces, 27 kills and 34 digs. The College of Saint Elizabeth finished the game with 4 blocks, 12 aces, 44 kills and 46 digs.
Daniel Chavez was one of two stand out performers for the home team. He accumulated a total of 11 kills, 16 assists and 7 digs. He was accompanied by his teammate Frank Rossi Jr. who tallied 22 assists, 9 kills and 3 aces.
For the Cardinals,
Akil Vaughn had 11 kills with two blocks. His teammate
Kevin Campbell posted 10 kills with 7 digs accompanied by
Juan Rodriguez who had 21 assists and 5 digs.
York's record drops to 1-11 as for College of Saint Elizabeth they improve to 3-7.
Next time out for the Cardinals is on the road on March 2
nd as they visit Sarah Lawrence College at 11am.
