Cardinals drop two non-conference games at home
JAMAICA, NY — The York College men's volleyball team lost both matches on Saturday afternoon. They fell to Elizabethtown College (NJ) in the opener, 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-22) and then lost to Ramapo College (NJ), 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-18).
Against Elizabethtown College (5-10), the Cardinals lost in straight sets but battled hard with a close 3rd set but unable to rally.
In the match against Ramapo College (6-7) the Cardinals struggled in the first two sets before making it close in the third.
Kevin Campbell led York with six kills, while
Juan Rodriguez had seven assists.
Mambe Koureissi had two blocks.
York falls to (1-9) CUNYAC (0-2). The Cardinals return to action on Tuesday, February 26th when they host Wilkes University (PA) for a 7 pm match-up at home.
