FLUSHING, NY --- (
www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College women's tennis took the court as the No. 6 seed Sunday afternoon against the third-seeded John Jay College Bloodhounds (8-3) in the first round of the CUNYAC Championship from USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing.
The Cardinals (0-9), who were defeated 5-0 by the Bloodhounds, made a return trip to the postseason for the first time since 2014.
After all three doubles lost, the Cardinals competed in third and sixth singles as John Jay claimed the 5-0 win to advance to Tuesday's semifinals against No. 2 Baruch College.
