Dessources Earns CUNYAC Rookie of the Week Honors Once Again
JAMAICA, N.Y. — Rookie guard
Mac-Dege Dessources, York (Fr, C, Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week once again as announced by the league office on Monday.
Dessources continued her torrid freshman campaign last week, picking up impressive double-doubles in each of her three games last week. The league's leading rebounder (17.8 rpg) posted 13 points apiece in tight losing efforts to Baruch and John Jay, and recorded 17 points and 18 rebounds, to go along with seven blocks in a 67-40 win at Medgar Evers.
The Cardinals (3-13) return to action Tuesday, January 15 at 6:00 PM against NYU (8-4).
