JAMAICA, N.Y.—The York College men's basketball team did not end their season on a good note, losing to Brooklyn College, 102-72.
On York's senior night, in front of one of its largest crowds of the season, the Cardinals came up flat, shooting just 31.6 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from the free throw line.
After gaining an early lead, the Cardinals went cold and Brooklyn went on a 25-6 run over an eight-minute span to gain a commanding, 40-21 lead late in the half. York continued to struggle in the second half and never threatened.
It was the final game for seniors
