JAMAICA, N.Y. — The York College women's swimming team (1-1) took a 94-52 non-conference loss from Kean University (2-3) on Friday evening at the York College Natatorium.

Argenis Morales was the top performer for the Cardinals collecting a second-place finish in the 50-meter backstroke (56.58) and the 200-meter freestyle (4:28) as the visitors took first in all 10 events.

The red and black also received third-place points from Mariela Rosario in the 100-meter individual medley (1:32.63) and Kaithlyn Taylor in the 50-meter butterfly (1:09.14).

York has a month off before returning to action on Friday, January 11 for a non-conference double dual against St. Joseph's College (Long Island) and St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) starting at 6 p.m. from Patchogue, N.Y.
