JAMAICA, N.Y.- The York women's soccer team played against John Jay College at Detective Keith Williams Park on Wednesday afternoon and fell by a score of 6-0.
The Bloodhounds offense was too much for York to handle as they posted 18 shots in the game. Anneliese Tucci led the way for John Jay with two goals, while Katie Haley and Erika Estro each chipped in with one goal and an assist. Goaltender
Stephanie Gutierrez had seven saves in the game, but that wasn't enough to help the Cardinals out.
The defense of John Jay College shut down any offensive chances for the Cardinals. York managed no shots on goal in the contest.
York's next game comes on Monday on 10/15 at 2:30 pm on the road against the College of Saint Elizabeth.
