JERSEY CITY, N.J.—The York College women's volleyball team fell on the road to New Jersey City University, 3-0 (25-12, 25-9, 25-14) Tuesday night.
York managed just six kills on the evening, while allowing 21 kills and 23 aces to NJCU.
Senior
Allison Li led the Cardinals with three kills and five digs, while junior
Kassandra Diaz added five digs as well.
NJCU featured a balanced attack, led by Nadia Montgomery, who had five kills and a .571 hitting percentage. Stephanie Duque had six aces and Rachel McIntyre finished with five aces.
NJCU improves to 3-3, while York drops to 0-4. The Cardinals open up CUNYAC play this Saturday with matches vs. Hunter College and the City College of New York at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. respectively.
