BOX SCORE BROOKLYN, N.Y.- The York College men's soccer team struggled once again on Tuesday afternoon as they lost to the College of New Jersey, 5-0.
TCNJ opened the score early and continued to tack on goals throughout the match. Nick Costelloe had the first two goals (12', 19' ) and assisted on the third. Greg Kaye, who assisted on the first two goals, came through with his own goal to make it 3-0 in the 24th minute. They later added two more second-half goals (77' and 83') to round out the scoring.
York had eight shots on the afternoon but only three were on goal, which were all turned away by TCNJ keeper Jake Nesteruk.
TCNJ improves to 2-1, while York drops to 0-2. The Cardinals will be idle until September 10, when they visit Rutgers-Newark University at 7 p.m.
