Hunter College Defeats York Women’s Tennis Team, 9-0

JAMAICA, N.Y. - The York College women's tennis team fell to Hunter College on Saturday, 9-0.

For the doubles play, Tenzin Kunchok and Maleeka Chin gave Hunter their most competitive match. The match ended 9-8, with Hunter winning the tiebreaker, 7-2.

For the singles play, Hunter won all 6 matches in straight sets.

York is now 1-9, and 0-5 CUNY Athletic Conference and Hunter improves its season record to 3-4 and 3-2 CUNYAC.

The next match will take place in the Bronx, NY against Lehman College on October 8th at 3:30 p.m.
