York Men’s Soccer Falls to Berkeley College

NEWARK, N.J. – The York College men's soccer team was unable to score against Berkeley College, losing the match by a score of 2-0.
 
Berkeley's defender, William Cardenas with an assist by Issa Musalaev, scored the first goal in the 14th minute, giving Berkeley the early advantage.
 
Berkeley's Raymond Scalfani scored the second goal in the 84th minute, with an assist by Bryan Costa. 
 
York kept it close; taking nine shots to Berkeley's 11, but the Cardinals could not convert their scoring opportunities.
 
With the loss, York drops to 5-8-1, while Berkeley improves to 6-5-2.
 
York will visit Yeshiva University on Friday, October 18th at 12 p.m. at Tibbett's Brook Park in Yonkers.
