BROOKLYN, NY— The York College women's volleyball team competed at the Jay Street Challenge—a two day tournament at NYU-Polytechnic—but came up short in all four of their contests.

On Saturday, York lost to host NYU-Polytechnic 3-0 (25-10, 25-9, 25-8) and Montclair State University (25-15, 25-20, 25-14).  On Sunday, they fell to Sarah Lawrence College, 3-1 (17-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-17) just three days after defeating the Gryphons at home.  They then dropped a match to Farmingdale State College, 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-15).

Despite the loss, York sophomore NaaDira Patrick was named to the Tournament All-Star Team.  She turned in a couple nice performances, slamming ten kills against Sarah Lawrence and four kills against NYU-Polytechnic.

York, now 3-8, will visit Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
