Ko Remains Undefeated but Women’s Tennis Falls to Hunter

JAMAICA, N.Y.— York College junior Anna Ko improved to 7-0 in singles play this season but the rest of the Cardinals women's tennis team did not fare as well, as they fell to Hunter College by a score of 8-1.

Playing at third singles, Ko was the lone victor for York. She defeated Hunter's Caroline Kaleda 6-3, 6-3. Hunter picked up straight-set victories in every other match.

With the loss, York falls to 2-5, 1-2 in the CUNYAC, while Hunter improves to 4-2, 2-0 in CUNYAC play.

The Cardinals will visit CCNY on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
