USMMA Tops York Women’s Volleyball
KINGS POINT, NY— The York College women's volleyball team came up short in a non-conference contest against the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Wednesday night. The Cardinals lost by a score of 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-16).
In the loss, York was led by
Stayce Kay Muirhead who put away five kills, while also blocking three shots.
Sharon Fordyce finished with six kills and three digs and
Pamela Yap had ten digs and 11 assists.
Evelyn Florentino had a perfect hitting percentage, registering four kills in four attempts.
York will visit the College of Staten Island on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
