York Suffers 3-0 Defeat to Ramapo
PATCHOGUE, NY— The York College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-8, 25-10, 25-10) defeat to Ramapo College on Saturday morning, in the final game of the Golden Eagles Tournament held at St. Joseph's College.
Ramapo had a number of players contribute in the victory, most notably Michelle Ferrari, who slammed six kills on 12 attempts and added six digs. The Roadrunners had a big day serving the ball, as they served up 23 aces on the day.
York had a team-high four kills and two blocks from
Stayce Kay Muirhead.
Sharon Fordyce added five digs for the Cardinals.
York will visit CCNY in a CUNY Athletic Conference contest on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
