Box Score
JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 (26-24, 18-25, 25-22, 25-15) victory over Sarah Lawrence College on Thursday evening. York built off the momentum from the first set, in which they fought off 11 set points, to come back from a 24-13 deficit.

After three York kills and an attack error by Sarah Lawrence made the score 24-22, Suero-Santos served up three aces in four plays to finish off the amazing comeback.
Sarah Lawrence fought back, however, taking the second set to even the score up at 1-1. York would then win a tightly contested third set 25-22, before taking the fourth set comfortably.
Suero-Santos led York with nine aces, to go along with five kills and six digs. Pamela Yap recorded a match-high 11 digs, while Emely Vasquez added six aces. Evelyn Florentino finished the night with seven kills.
