Women’s Tennis Sweeps City Tech; Improves to 3-0

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over conference-rival City Tech, Tuesday afternoon, to improve to a perfect 3-0 in the program's short history.  

 

The Lady Cardinals were never threatened in the entire match.  The closest match of the day came at sixth singles, where Taliah Cudjoe won 6-3, 7-6.  Valerie Roland and Amba Pika each won at first and second singles respectively and they also teamed up to win at first doubles.

 

York will look to continue its winning ways when it travels to Staten Island on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
