Lady Cardinals Swept by Ramapo

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's volleyball team fell to a strong team from Ramapo College Thursday evening by a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-8, 25-18).
The Lady Cardinals were never in the match as Ramapo took charge from the start. The Roadrunners took advantage of 17 reception errors by York. Ramapo's Kayla Anders recorded a match-high eight kills on just ten attempts and setter Tiffany Fischer had 24 assists.
For York, senior Shanine Bogan led the Lady Cardinals with give kills and a .833 hitting percentage, while also recording four blocks.
York, 2-3, will host the CUNYAC multi-match on Saturday. York will take on Baruch at 11 a.m. and Medgar Evers College at 1:00 p.m.
