Lady Cardinals Drop Non-Conference Tilt to Old Westbury

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference tilt, Tuesday, falling to Old Westbury 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-9). The loss drops the Lady Cardinals record to 5-13 on the season.
Old Westbury received a match-high ten kills from Alyssa Clifton, while Ashley Greene and Kristina Giordano each added seven kills apiece.
For York, Irma Ruilova led York with four kills, while also recording eight digs and three service aces. #Pamela Lebron# digged a team-high nine balls.
York will play John Jay and CCNY in a multi-match held at Hunter College on October 12. The matches will start at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
