York College

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women’s swim team fell to Hunter College on Wednesday by a score of 123-44.   The loss drops the Lady Cardinals record to 2-8, 0-6 in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).

Ayanna Bennett (Hempstead, NY/ Uniondale) once again picked up the only victory for York, winning the 50-free over five other competitors.   Bennett also took second place in the 100-backstroke as well as the 100-breaststroke. 

York will have its third meet in as many nights tomorrow when they visit Old Westbury at 6 p.m.  Both of the Lady Cardinals victories have come against the Panthers this season.
